Headshot and Portrait sessions

Professional images for press, promotion, social media - or just for your wall.

Free consultations precede each commission, to give you the information you need to make choices and to ensure that I deliver the shoot and the images that you want.
​
In the studio, I use a selection of backgrounds and lighting set-ups to provide the variety you might want. Together, we will review the images during the shoot to ensure you get the look you're going for. Location shoots are also an option. Outdoor shoots can of course be weather-dependent.
​
When taking the photographs I try to capture natural expressions and to portray your confidence and character. There will be lots of time and nothing is rushed - the aim is for you to feel at ease.
​
What to Wear
Whatever you wear you should chose clothes you feel good in. Simple designs will better focus viewers' attention onto you rather than the clothes.
​
For headshots you may wish to bringmore than one top, allowing a variety of necklines/styles. For a natural look, make-up should be minimal. For head & body shoots bring a variety of outfits including accessories and any jewellery you need.

Prices
Studio session: Lasts about an hour and costs £130 per person (students £95). Please get in touch for prices for groups or families.
​
You are invited to select 3 of your favourite shots from the many taken during the session. I will then provide you with fully retouched images, both in colour and in B&W. Additional retouched images are available at £20 each.
Printed images
If required, 10 x 8" headshot prints can be provided at £15 each.
Portrait and larger prints can be arranged, with prices quoted individually.
Framing and/or mounting can also be arranged, on request.
The full photoshoot fee is payable upon agreement of the shoot.
Pet photography sessions

I will provide you with top quality images that you will treasure. Free consultations are available before each shoot, to help you make choices, and so that I can deliver the photographs you want.
​
In the studio, a choice of different backgrounds and lighting set-ups are available. I can also bring some of these along if you have selected to have the shoot at your home. Location and outdoor shoots are going to be very dependent on the weather, so studio shots are a fall-back option if re-scheduling is not possible.
​
I will take a variety of photographs during the shoot and you will have the opportunity to select your favourites from the best of these.

Prices
Studio session - Lasts approximately an hour and costs £95, for one pet (additional pets £40 each). You will receive at least three fully retouched digital images of your choice, per pet. All will be suitable for sharing on social media.
​
Home or location session - Costs £125, for one pet (additional pets £40 each). You also have the alternative option to have your own picture taken with your pet. You will receive at least three fully retouched digital images of your choice, per pet. All will be suitable for sharing on social media.
​
Printed images: Printed images are available on request. Prices vary depending on size and media type selected.
​
Framing and/or mounting: Can also be arranged on request.
​
The full photoshoot fee is payable upon agreement of the shoot. Volunteers or staff working at recognised pet charities are eligible for a 30% discount on both photoshoot & image fees.

How to prepare for the shoot:
We will get the best cooperation from your pet if it has had a little exercise sometime during the hours before your session. They will look also their best if they have had a brush and a clean up around their eyes. When you first arrive at my studio there will be plenty of time for your pet to get used the new surroundings and of course to get used to me. Pets are never rushed or put under stress during the shoot.
